Deveski went down to the Carnival On Collins (Botanical Gardens Cairns, Tanks Arts Centre, Cairns Regional Council) which has always been a feature for the last day of Cairns Festival. Featuring markets, entertainment and more, its great to see so many people off their phones and down mingling with the community. Also had a quick chat with Bindi’s Custom Creations, Haigh’s Honey House, and Chilloomba Chillies about the importance for events like this for their locally made products.
