To close out the year Cairns FM 89.1 and FNQ Originals will be presenting the ‘2022 North QLD Ultimate Top 50.’The songs from the best North QLD Musicians which have been hand picked by Baz and Deveski will be played over a 6 hour Live Show on Boxing Day from Midday to 6pm counting down from 50 to 1.
Cairns FM 89.1 had a huge boost in awareness and support as Baz and Deveski from FNQ Originals went to Airlie Beach for the Airlie Beach Festival Of Sound. The Cairns FM 89.1 Team put together a float for this years Cairns Parade 2022, after a couple of years off with COVID 19. Thanks to all the Cairns FM 89.1 volunteers who helps with the float this year. The team got everything together last minute, and with members from different multicultural groups took to the streets and hopefully got some overdue love for our beloved community radio station.
Cairns FM 89.1 is delighted to announce that the Australia Taxation Office (ATO) has endorsed Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status. We are now classed as an organisation that can receive donations that are tax deductible. Donors can deduct the amount of their donation from their taxable income when they lodge their tax return.
